The KEC range of Circular and D-Type EMC backshells include options for overall screening, individual wire screening, and a combination of both, providing excellent 360^o screening and EMC performance. 

The KEC pioneered ‘Tube and Braid’ kit deals with the complex problem of screening cables incorporating individual screens.  

Straight and angled versions are available in a range of materials and plating finishes with integral and additional strain relief options.

KEC have produced backshells that house filtering systems or PCB’s, have adapted backshells to receive flexible, flat ribbon cable with a ground plane or very low profile ‘Cobra Head’ backshells.  All designed to move cables through 90^o in the minimum amount of space. 

No special tooling is required and all fittings are easy and economical to install and are totally re-workable.
