Provertha’s new compact M12 interface bus connector, designed for use with control systems where space is at a premium, is now available from KEC Limited the interconnect EMC specialist.

The slim line format of the Profibus Compact M12 connector is ideal for restricted space applications where cabling access may be reduced or obstructed by the standard product.   It is manufactured in die Cast Zinc providing a totally screened and shielded product suitable for use in areas where EMC is a priority. The outlets are at 90deg to the D Sub connector interface and an easy to operate external switch is provided. Programming and diagnosis options are available via a second D Sub port.

The M12 Plug and Play connector system offers safe and easy installation and termination and 4.40 UNC knurled jackscrews are used to provide positive and vibration resistant locking.
